The Shipston/Stour Community Forum meets at least 4 times a year in venues across the area which covers the wards of Admington, Alderminster, Atherstone On Stour, Butlers Marston, Compton Wynyates, Ettington, Halford, Ilmington, Loxley, Marston Sicca (Long Marston), Oxhill, Pillerton Hersey, Pillerton Priors, Preston On Stour, Quinton, Tredington, Tysoe, Whatcote, Whitchurch, Barcheston & Willington, Barton On The Heath, Brailes, Burmington, Cherington & Stourton, Great Wolford, Honington, Idlicote, Little Compton, Little Wolford, Long Compton, Shipston On Stour, Stourton & Cherington, Stretton On Fosse, Sutton-Under-Brailes, Tidmington, Whichford.
An informal “drop-in” surgery is always held for the half hour before the forum where you can speak to officers from your local Safer Neighbourhood Team (starting at 6:30pm), Councillors and Officers from Warwickshire County and Stratford-on-Avon District Councils to raise specific concerns or problems.
Additionally, representatives from NHS Warwickshire and VASA (Voluntary Action Stratford-on-Avon) regularly attend forums, keeping it updated with all current developments. Everyone is welcome to come along and it is your chance to find out what is really going on in your community.
Shipston Town Councillors and the Town Clerk also attend.
