'Cotswold Composers' - the Carice Singers
The Carice Singers, A brilliant young choir of 17-20 year olds, will perform a concert entitled 'Cotswold Composers' at St. Gregory's Church, Tredington, on the 1st April 2012, 7pm.
Join the Carice Singers, named after the daughter of Sir Edward Elgar, on a journey through the Cotswolds exploring the music by composers who were inspired by the landscapes and rural life; Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Finzi, Holst, Howells, Moeran and other pieces that will ring out in the generous acoustic of St. Gregory's Tredington (Purcell, 'Hear My Prayer O Lord, Taverner 'Quemadmodum' and Gibbons 'O Clap Your Hands')
Admission for this amazing concert is FREE, with a Retiring Collection in aid of Shipston Home Nursing; please give generously.
